Sunshine

On sunny days lets sit outside, drink lemonade and enjoy the day. We don't need to do anything in particular, as long as we're together.

Gray Days

Sometimes I have gray phases. I won't be myself. Don't be surprised if you being your adorable self doesn't automatically snap me out it. Don't take it personally. 

Please be patient, I'm still in there, I will snap out of it. In the mean time lets have quite time where we talk about silly little things, or fun plans for the summer.

Promise

I like holding hands, but it's ok to let go of me sometimes. I won't run away.

Spiders and other creepers...

I can not kill them. They creep me out too much. I will most likely just squirm, maybe scream a very small scream and point to where it is. But, I will be forever grateful for your willingness to kill or capture and release them outside of the house to make me feel safe.

Lead Me, Guide Me

When we are walking through a crowd, please always grab my hand and lead me. I hate that feeling of getting lost or left behind.
Light my path sweet future man!Be my knight and shining armor with strong hands to guide me along the trail!
Please and thank you, with lots of hugs and kisses in between?!?!!!!
Plus also... I'll love you forever and be your best friend!

Your Job

You may not always love your job, but if you keep going to work so that we can keep a roof over our heads and meet our financial goals, well I want to say thank you!

Slightly jealous

If you think other girls are hot, can you keep it to yourself?

And It Goes On Cereal.

If you ever want to make life special, or celebrate for no apparent reason then may I suggest Vanilla Almond Milk? Of course the sweetened kind so we can pretend like we're being healthy even though with all that sugar we're probably not. It's also delicious in a smoothie.

Quiet Time

Here's a little secret... 

You'll know I am upset if I am quiet. Be sweet but not obnoxious to pull me out of the silence game. 

Ps. I am always quiet in the morning. Just don't mess with me then.

The Carton

I like to save on dishes. This means that sometimes I will drink straight from the carton. You can do it too since we're probably going to be exchanging spit anyway, but we should probably stop once the kids are old enough to notice what we're doing. 
 

Hungry?

Sometimes I eat marshmallows straight from the bag. The same thing happens on a regular basis with a spoon and a jar of peanut butter. Don't Judge.

Melt-down

I tend to freak out about things. You're either going to want to fix it (I don't expect or need you to) or you're going to want to leave until I calm down. But trying to fix it or leaving will only get me more worked up. Try telling me you're here. You hear me. And maybe try holding my hand or giving me a hug. I know it seems like I'll jump at touch, but I bet I'll melt instead.

Dress-up.

I'm not girlie. I don't love pink. I don't wear much make-up. But sometimes I love to dress up and feel pretty. Give me a reason to from time to time.

Simple Memories

Let's make thousands of simple memories...

When it is warm outside, let's go on lots of picnics.
When the stars are out lets drive to a mountain and gaze forever.
After we rake the leafs, lets jump in them and rake up one more time.
Let's paint our kids bedrooms together in our special painting clothes and make a little bit of a mess.
Car washes and water fights need to be a regular occurrence in our driveway.
Even if I am not totally into the sport, let's have a favorite team that we cheer on at all the home games.
Let's hold hands and walk down a beach at least once a year.
How about we make up a secret signal when we need the other person to rescue us from a situation?
Let's make each other laugh and smile everyday.

Polish

If I ever break my leg, will you paint my toe nails?
Well what are the odds of breaking my leg?


When I am so pregnant that I can't see my feet, will you paint my toes?
I won't scream at you in the delivery room and blame you for the pain.

Dancing

Well, swaying, in the kitchen. I can't explain why I think it's cute. It just is. Dance with me, will you?

Play

I much prefer toys to flowers or jewelry.

Road trips

are not about destination. Let's have fun getting a little lost :)

Tiny promise

If you promise to let me drop the kids off at my parents for a week and then take me on vacation... I promise to make it up to you.

High Maintenance

So if you tell me you are going to call... you'd better call.
Or if I am expecting you to be home at 6... be home at 6 or tell me otherwise.
This is the one issue that I am a little high maintenance about. So if you want to never hurt my feelings and keep me smiling. Always call.

Then I will appease you for whatever you are a little high maintenance about.

Chilly
